Job Description

Reed.ai is an early-stage AI company on a mission to transform the way people find work and businesses find talent. We’re scaling fast, moving with purpose, and building something genuinely exciting in a market that’s ready to be disrupted. We have ambitious plans to deliver a service for SMEs that saves them time and money while helping them find the right people, and we need the right marketing leader to help us get there.
We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager with real gravitas, someone strategic, creative, and relentlessly hands-on. You won’t just plan campaigns; you’ll own them from brief to result. You’ll bring expertise across paid social, SEO, and PPC alongside a deep instinct for what drives growth. You’re not here to complain about gaps — you’re here to fill them, build what’s needed, and make things happen. If you’re energised by the challenge of building a high-performing marketing engine from the ground up, this was written for you.
This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of marketing at an AI company with serious ambition and enterprise backing. Lead multi-channel campaign execution across paid social, SEO, PPC, email, and beyond, with a sharp, segment-led strategy that reaches the right audiences and converts them.
Build and automate scalable marketing workflows that allow the team to punch above its weight, doing more, faster, without sacrificing quality.
Drive performance across every channel, ATL and BTL, ensuring every campaign has impact, every pound of budget is accountable, and every touchpoint builds the brand.
Balance long-term strategy with real-time agility, you know when to stick to the plan and when to seize the moment, and you move quickly when it matters.
Inspire the wider team with high standards and high energy, creating a culture where people are motivated, accountable, and proud of the work they put out.
Take ownership of the marketing budget with rigour and commercial discipline , forecasting accurately, tracking spend, and making every investment count.
Experience in delivering on a marketing strategy from conception to delivery. You can zoom out to see the full picture, build a growth marketing strategy that connects to business goals, and then zoom back in to make it happen.
Strong understanding of organic and paid activity - you know how to create a brand that generates organic traffic, whilst maximising commercial return for every £ spent.
Data-driven and intellectually honest, you test, learn, and adapt without ego, always chasing the approach that works rather than the one you first thought of.
A sharp writer, you craft content that cuts through, whether that’s a campaign headline, a nurture email, or a brief for a creative team.
Defined a budget including commercial ROI definitions, responsible for managing and reporting on spend and ensuring maximum return from every pound, holding yourself accountable to the numbers.
A powerful communicator with real gravitas, you can hold a room, influence stakeholders at every level, and bring people on the journey with you.

Hands-on CRM expertise including SMTP, you’ve worked with platforms like HubSpot or ActiveCampaign and know how to build automated journeys that actually convert.

Experience with WhatsApp B2B/B2C communications (broadcasts and live two-way conversations) is a must have.
Strong email marketing capability, you build campaigns that engage, nurture, and convert, using pre-designed components and your own creative instincts to drive results.
A team player with bold ideas, you collaborate generously, challenge constructively, and never stop looking for a smarter way to do things.
Adaptable and outcome-obsessed, you pivot when you need to, stay focused on what matters, and never use “it’s not my job” as an excuse.
Digitally fluent and commercially sharp, you understand AI products, the recruitment market, and how to connect the two in a way that excites and converts customers.
Genuinely excited by AI, you’re curious, fast to learn, and can articulate what makes a product brilliant in a way that builds confidence and drives action.
