They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to take lead of their design decisions a their Tewksbury site.

In this role, you'll be working on projects from concept through to completion on the shop floor. You'll be dealing with initial technical designs using CAD, through to dealing with BOMs through to manufacture. You'll also provide technical leadership to the engineering team, being the technical expert onsite. You'll receive on-the-job training in their niche industry from experts in the field to equip you with the knowledge needed.

THE ROLE:
*CAD Design across a range of cutting edge electromechanical instrumentation
*Full project lifecycle - working throughout the full process from concept to manufacture
*Developing new design concepts
*Technical leadership
*Project budget, material selection
*Product/Industry Training

THE PERSON:
*Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (min 8-years)
*Experience with CAD Software (OnShape, SolidWorks, Inventor, or Catia)
*Knowledge of FRWE & DFA/DFM
*Ideally a background in Mechanically Assembled products
*Mechanical Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
