Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Attention all Senior Mechanical Design Engineers!

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a engineering services company, in a permanent position (our client will also consider contract candidates). You will be required to work full time (5 days a week) in Witham. This is a great opportunity to work on a range of projects, starting with Leisure Centre projects.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead mechanical design on projects of all sizes, ensuring excellent client service.

-Ensure quality control across mechanical engineering projects company-wide.

-Manage project budgets and cost control.

-Oversee project and cross-functional teams.

-Attend client/project sites for meetings, surveys, and training.

What we are looking for:

Essential:

-Minimum Degree level in Mechanical Engineering.

-Skilled in Microsoft office.

-Proven experience of delivering detailed designs through the full design cycle.

-String knowledge of Water Services, Heating / LTHW, HVAC, Fuel, above- ground drainage and BMS.

Desirable:

-Chartered or working towards Chartership (IET or similar) preferred.

-Experience with thermal modelling, energy assessment, dynamic energy modelling software advantageous.

-Commercial sector knowledge and BIM experience are strong advantages.
