We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer to take ownership of mechanical design packages, contribute to high-profile developments and collaborate with a talented team across a range of commercial and mixed-use projects.

Responsibilities

* Mechanical Design & Engineering

Lead the design and development of mechanical building services systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning and public health interfaces, ensuring solutions meet project requirements and relevant industry standards.

* Project Coordination & Collaboration

Work closely with electrical engineers, architects, structural engineers and other project stakeholders to coordinate building services designs and resolve technical and spatial coordination issues.

* Technical Calculations & Specifications

Prepare and review mechanical design calculations, technical reports, equipment selections, specifications and drawings to ensure designs are accurate, compliant and fit for purpose.

* Project Delivery & Client Liaison

Manage mechanical design packages throughout the project lifecycle, liaising directly with clients and project teams to maintain programme, budget and quality expectations.

* Mentoring & Design Quality

Support and mentor junior engineers, review design outputs and promote best practice, sustainable engineering principles and high standards of technical delivery across projects.

Requirements

* Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a relevant discipline.

* 4+ years' experience in a similar Mechanical Design Engineer or Building Services Design role.

* Must be based within a commutable distance of London.

Benefits

£50,000–£60,000 DOE + Benefits
