Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer ready to lead complex projects and influence engineering strategy? Our client is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic and growing organisation based in Kent. What You'll Do:

• Lead mechanical design and development of bespoke systems and components
• Oversee full project lifecycle from concept through to delivery
• Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, electrical, manufacturing)
• Conduct feasibility studies, stress analysis, FEA, and design reviews
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations

About You:

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.)
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and tolerancing
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) desirable
