Pay: 45/50 Per Hour (Inside IR35)
Must have SC Clearance or eligible

About the Role

We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer to work on important nuclear projects. This is a contract role within our client’s nuclear business. You’ll help support national defence, clean up old nuclear sites, and build the future of nuclear energy in the UK.

What You’ll Do

* Design and develop engineering solutions for nuclear projects.

* Work closely with other teams and help manage technical issues.

* Talk to clients and suppliers about designs and equipment needs.

* Make sure all work follows the right rules and standards.

* Help improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

* Investigate technical problems and help solve them.

* Support the project team by writing reports and preparing technical documents.

* Must have experience with Shielded Glovebox design

What We’re Looking For

* Experience in mechanical engineering (Nuclear)

* Knowledge of CAD tools and how to read and create engineering drawings.

* Good at working with others and solving problems.

* Comfortable talking to different people from team members to clients.

* Someone who takes ownership, works hard, and is open to new ideas.
