An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to join a well-established M&E Building Services Contractor delivering a major, long-term project in Leicestershire.

This is a key leadership role overseeing the mechanical package on a high-value, technically complex development. You'll be responsible for managing the project from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the mechanical delivery of a large-scale M&E project from inception to completion.
Manage site-based Mechanical Project Managers, Site Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors.
Coordinate mechanical services with electrical, civil and main contractor teams.
Develop and manage project programmes, procurement schedules and resource plans.
Monitor project costs, variations and commercial performance alongside the commercial team.
Attend client, design, progress and coordination meetings.
Review drawings, technical specifications and design information to ensure buildability.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, QA/QC procedures and project standards.
Oversee commissioning, witnessing, snagging and final handover.Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical Project Manager within the M&E / Building Services sector.
Excellent knowledge of HVAC, public health and mechanical building services.
Experience managing multidisciplinary site teams and subcontractors.
Strong commercial awareness and programme management skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
SMSTS, CSCS Managers Card and First Aid preferred.Package
