A leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join its growing Cambridge team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven professional to take ownership of major mechanical and electrical packages across a diverse portfolio of projects. Working alongside an experienced leadership team, you'll have the chance to contribute to landmark schemes across sectors including healthcare, education, infrastructure, regeneration and public-sector developments.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior MEP Surveyor:

Lead the commercial management of mechanical and electrical packages across multiple projects.
Prepare cost plans, budgets, estimates and tender documentation.
Manage procurement activities, contractor appointments and tender evaluations.
Administer contracts and maintain commercial compliance throughout project lifecycles.
Oversee valuations, variations, change control and final accounts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
Support value engineering and risk management initiatives.
Monitor commercial performance against programme and budget targets.
Lead commercial meetings, workshops and client presentations where required.
About You
You'll be an experienced MEP surveying professional with a strong understanding of building services packages on major construction projects.

Requirements:

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related construction discipline.
Proven experience within an MEP Quantity Surveying or Building Services environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services packages.
Experience managing MEP costs from pre-contract through to final account.
Familiarity with NEC and JCT forms of contract.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Working towards or already achieved chartered status (RICS or equivalent) is desirable.
A proactive, commercially aware mindset and ambition to progress within a growing consultancy.
Full UK driving licence preferred.Some benefits include:
