Senior .Net Engineer

We are recruiting for an Affiliate Senior .Net Engineer for a 6 month contract to start end September/October

£430-530 per day depending on experience.

2 days a week required on site in Leeds.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• C# .NET
• Azure experience (specifically Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Blob Storage, Application Insights).
• Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL and ORMs such as Entity Framework.
• Unit testing experience, ideally with NUnit and Moq.
• Strong understanding of C# and software development best practices.
• The ability to mentor junior members of the team with sound reasoning.
• An understanding of CI/CD and the importance of DevOps in software development.

The candidate will be joining a team of developers who’ve been tasked with supporting the migration of a third party application from on-premise to the cloud.

The team will need to write a set of intermediary endpoints and triggers that talk to the third party application, acting as a gateway for the existing on-premise applications to call.

The developers on the team are new to C# .NET, so the candidate will be hands on supporting their learning through code reviews, pairing, demos, etc.
