Complexion Glow + Refillable CompactPress: Tatler titles Environ Focus Care Moisture+ HA Hydrating Serum as ‘Best Green Packaging’About this roleAs the Senior NPD, you will assume the role of a specialised, scientifically minded manager responsible for helping to build and nurture our cosmetic portfolios by contributing to the conceptualisation of products, strategically leading and managing the development of NPD, and maintaining the ongoing managing of existing products.This is a maternity contract role.The Senior NPD Manager will work alongside the other senior members of the research team, shaping and impacting the brand’s cosmetic developments. You will also work particularly closely day-to-day with wider teams and external suppliers, including but not limited to; regulatory, packaging, creative and supply chain, in order to innovate and maintain the smooth running of skincare NPD projects.Key Responsibilities Bluesky innovative product conceptualisation – curation of new product proposals.Develop new products inclusive of product idea, formulation strategy, ingredient approach/research, claims validation, evaluation of submissions and alignment with marketing / leadership.Full accountability for NPD of innovative formulations and bespoke tooled packaging including analysis of trend insight reports, ingredient research, product concept creation through to ensuring stock in warehouse.Continuously seek out new ingredients and new clinical innovation.Analyse the competitive landscape to identify unique points of difference.Collaborate with suppliers to source ingredients.Desired Skills and Experience Experience in cosmetics and/or skincare product development.Strong attention to detail and an obsession with organisation is required.Strong project management including development of timelines, tracking of project status and ability to move projects forward to hit key milestones and deadlines.Strong communication skills – able to explain complex information with ease.Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Strong knowledge of formulations & active ingredients.What’s in it for you?25 days’ annual leave, rising the longer you stay with usThree gifted days (non contractual).A monthly allowance to spend on our products, plus additional discountFree annual eye test at Vision ExpressCycle to Work schemeRecommend a friend scheme: we reward you for bringing people into our businessTravel card loanExcellent opportunities to grow and move within the companyWe are committed to creating a work environment that doesn’t discriminate against age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation
