We are recruiting for a Senior NPD Technologist to join an incredible FMCG business in North Wales.

This role has come about due to company expansion; they have a people focused culture and incredible products!

This is a customer facing role and the successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that the customer project briefs are adhered to and delivered successfully.

The successful candidate will be engaging, dynamic and have proven experience dealing with leading retailers. You will be collaborative and will support members of the specifications team.

Senior NPD Technologist - Responsibilities & Requirements

• Must have experience within food manufacturing
• Strong understanding of the science behind recipe formulation insights
• Will have HACCP knowledge and understanding by qualification or experience
• Must have strong communication skills and be able to confidently build, develop and maintain strong relationships with key contacts and retailers
• Confident working within a fast-paced environment working to tight deadlines
• Responsible for sending out samples and meeting required delivery deadlines
• Working closely with spec writer to ensure alignment and consistency with project updates
• Responsible for sending out photography and PR samples
• Supporting with business projects
• Attending all customer submission meetings
• Undertaking all tasks associated with product launch
• Consistently complying and assisting with the implementation of quality, food safety and legalities
• A positive attitude and a creative flair are a must!
