Job Description - Senior Occupational Therapist

Senior Occupational Therapist (Band 7)


Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Welcome Bonus: £3,000

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for the next step in your career? Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Occupational Therapist to join their specialist neurological rehabilitation service. If you have Band 6 experience or above, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

In this position, you will play a key role in providing high-quality occupational therapy, supporting patients in their rehabilitation journey. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Strong clinical reasoning, leadership abilities, and excellent organisational skills are essential.

What We’re Looking For

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy

  • HCPC registration (current and valid)

  • Substantial experience within a relevant clinical setting

  • Advanced clinical reasoning skills for complex cases

  • Additional postgraduate training in a relevant area

  • A commitment to ongoing professional development

  • Specialism in neurological rehabilitation (desirable)
