JGA are partnering with an innovative fashion technology start-up, combining cutting-edge AI technology with the latest fashion trends to create a revolutionary shopping experience. As they expand their operations in the UK, we are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Manager to set up and manage their new Distribution / Warehouse Centre and Logistics programme.

Position Overview:

The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for setting up and managing this ecommerce business' operations and logistics in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Conduct regular assessments of operational processes to identify areas for improvement.
Plan and oversee the implementation of new processes and systems to enhance efficiency.
Process Improvement and Optimization:
Analyze current operational processes and identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks.
Develop and implement solutions to optimize workflows and improve productivity.
Monitor the effectiveness of new processes and make adjustments as needed.
Supply Chain and Inventory Management:
Oversee supply chain activities to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
Manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing costs.
Develop relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms.
Quality Control and Compliance:
Ensure all operations comply with industry standards and regulations.
Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of product and service delivery.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance and quality.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Establish KPIs and metrics to measure operational performance.
Prepare regular reports on operational activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in operations and logistics management, preferably in the fashion retail or ecommerce sectors.
Proven track record of improving operational processes and efficiency.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment with a high level of adaptability.
