To excel in this Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer position, you must possess exceptional technical expertise and a deep understanding of Building Services Engineering, coupled with proficiency in interdisciplinary design across all phases of the design process.
Your background should include prior experience in consultancy or on-site roles, involving the design and management of buildings, with a knack for analysing and comprehending their implications on your tasks.
Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:
* Assist in the implementation of a range of services, including Plant Renewal, Replacement, and Refurbishment, Surveys, Technical Advice, and Carbon Management.
* Offer guidance and technical expertise to clients on engineering systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, facilitating forward planning and refurbishment, managing change effectively and optimising asset value
* Meet with clients, writing comprehensive reports, specifications and recommendations to meet their needs
What they're looking for:
* A relevant degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification
* Have excellent communication skills with both internal and external clients and a team-based work approach
* A broad spectrum of experience in the building services sector, with a specific focus on Electrical Building Services, is essential for tackling various projects effectively
* Chartered Engineer or actively working towards with a recognised institution would be advantageous
