Senior Outwards Reinsurance Actuary

We have partnered with one of the most impressive Re/insurers to find them a senior outwards reinsurance actuary. This is a great opportunity to have ownership of a book of business and lots of exposure to senior management, including all the way up to the CEO. The role include:

• Working for one of the fastest growing businesses in the insurance market.
• Reporting into the Group Head of Portfolio Management and Head of Ceded Re
• Working closely with senior management on strategic decisions, particularly CAT, pricing, portfolio management and business planning.
• Be the key point of contact for the group's outwards reinsurance, ensuring it is purchased efficiently, leveraging portfolio analysis and strategic insights.
• Outwards case pricing across all lines, including Property, Speci and bespoke lines.
• Leverage inwards pricing models and create feedback loops between management and reinsurance purchasing decisions.
• Reinsurance program design and delivery.
