Dog require an experienced

Senior Paid Marketing Manager

for an exciting role based in our Glasgow office (hybrid working with three days a week in the office Tuesday-Thursday).

You will be leading on some of our most prestigious accounts including The Loch Lomond Group, The Harris Distillery, Weebox and Vetoquinol, alongside other exciting consumer brands.

You will have a proven track record of demonstrating strong knowledge and understanding of the Marketing landscape – with a focus on paid media (both online and offline), and the planning, execution and reporting of marketing campaigns.

Your thirst for knowledge ensures you understand the latest paid media technologies and deliver results with a drive for testing and learning. Attention to detail is of the utmost importance to you, guaranteeing flawless execution of global and regional marketing campaigns.

Working within the Marketing Team, you will collaborate closely with all internal departments; creative & design, development, client services and project management to formulate, brief, implement and deliver successful and leading-edge digital solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

Planning, Delivery & Execution
Planning, building and optimising high-performance paid social and traditional media campaigns with a range of different client objectives in mind, everything from brand awareness to sales and lifetime value increase campaigns
Find new and exciting ways to engage with our client’s audiences, with a focus on paid media and creative content
Work with our marketing, creative and design teams to ensure paid media strategies are part of a holistic, integrated approach to solving the client challenge, including writing creative briefs to feed into creative and content approaches
Build innovative campaigns that are insight-led and designed to resonate with target audiences
Optimising existing client search accounts for improvements on an ongoing basis
Writing compelling ad copy for all paid campaign activity
Planning paid strategies across a wide range of ad formats and platforms, including social media ads, search & display, shopping ads, video, out of home, radio, TV, and press
Analysing competitive landscape and using this to help inform client strategies
The role may include taking part in new business pitches and proposals.
Strong appetite to hit targets by monitoring performance regularly to understand effectiveness of strategy and creative, and making recommendations for continuous improvement
A good understanding of the wider marketing landscape

Insights & Reporting
A strategic and analytical thinker that can interpret numbers and data into actionable insights and learnings
Experience using social media management tools to write performance reports
A good handle on the analysis of media creative using performance data

Client Relationships
Build close relationships with our clients through daily

communication/weekly

calls, acting as an extension of their team
Confident in presenting to senior leadership on campaign plans and results
Collaborate with our client’s roster of agencies, ensuring strong relationships to build cross-channel marketing campaigns

Requirements & Qualifications
·4-5 years of experience as Marketing Manager or similar role, agency or in-house running paid search, paid social and paid media campaigns (e.g. OOH, audio advertising, programmatic).
Ability to tie marketing strategy back to overarching objectives.
Strong interest in and understanding of the digital marketing landscape, particularly within paid media.
Interested in innovation and experimentation of emerging technologies and platforms.
SEO knowledge and experience would be a bonus.
In-depth experience and knowledge of a broad range of marketing and analytics tools (e.g. Keyword Planner, Excel, PowerPoint, Meta Advertising, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Amazon Ads, Google Analytics, Google Ads).
Strong appetite to hit targets by monitoring performance regularly to understand effectiveness of strategy and creative, and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
Demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn; enthusiasm is a must
Strong organisation and time management, both reacting to assignments from the client services team, or direct from the client and self-planning deliverables to meet deadlines.
Strong focus on customer service.
Team player, at ease with internal stakeholders from junior to senior levels, and willing to roll up your sleeves and work collaboratively.
Strong understanding of social media KPIs
Experience of audience and buyer persona research
A natural communicator – confident in presenting campaigns and activities to different parts of the business and managing key stakeholders
Can work under pressure, with the ability to be reactive and flexible in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
