Senior Paraplanner

We are working with a highly regarded Independent Financial Advisory (IFA) practice based in Fareham, Hampshire, seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Paraplanner to join their growing team.

The Role:
As a Senior Paraplanner, you will work closely with Financial Advisors to deliver high-quality, compliant, and technically accurate reports and research for a broad range of clients. This is a hands-on role with involvement in complex cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide detailed technical research and analysis to support holistic financial advice
• Produce bespoke suitability reports for pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning
• Liaise with product providers and clients to gather information and clarify requirements
• Support Financial Planners in client meetings where necessary
• Keep up to date with regulatory changes and ensure all recommendations comply with FCA standards
• Assist with the training and development of junior paraplanners or administrators

We are looking for an experienced, qualified, and detail-oriented professional with a passion for financial planning and a high level of technical knowledge.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a paraplanning role within an IFA or wealth management firm
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or working towards.
• Strong understanding of pensions, investments, tax planning, and protection products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage workload independently while contributing to a team environment
• Proficient with industry software (e.g., Intelligent Office, FE Analytics, Voyant)

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 depending on experience and qualifications
Hybrid working: 3 days in the office (Fareham), 2 from home
