Senior Pattern Cutter

We are working with a highly respected and fast-growing womenswear brand renowned for its modern, elegant collections and strong industry presence. With a loyal customer base and increasing global reach, our client is seeking an experienced Senior Pattern Cutter to join their creative studio and play a key role in delivering beautifully crafted garments from concept to final fit.

The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically skilled and creatively minded pattern cutter to take ownership of garment development across multiple collections. You will work closely with the design and technical teams, contributing to fit development and ensuring all patterns meet the highest standards of quality and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate first patterns from designer sketches and specifications (manual and CAD-based).
• Attend and lead fit sessions, making technical amendments as required.
• Collaborate with the in-house sample room to address any construction challenges.
• Maintain consistency in sizing, grading, and fit across all styles.
• Ensure patterns are production-ready, technically sound, and factory-appropriate.
• Support mentoring and development of junior pattern cutters as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in womenswear pattern cutting
• Excellent technical knowledge of garment construction and fabric performance.
• Skilled in both manual and CAD pattern cutting (Gerber, Lectra, or CLO 3D).
• Confident in fittings and able to adapt patterns efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Passionate about quality, fit, and fashion innovation.
