Senior Payroll Advisor - 18 month FTC

We are currently assisting with the recruitment for an experienced Senior Payroll Advisor to join a growing, people‑focused leading chartered accountancy. This role sits within a high‑performing payroll team that supports a wide range of clients with complex, high‑volume, and multi‑frequency payrolls.

The role will be an 18-month contract working as part of a large team focusing on processing a complex varied portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities:

Manage end to end payroll across multiple frequencies for a complex varied portfolio of clients
Process benefits, share schemes, Teachers Pensions etc…
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact for complex payroll matters.
Mentor and support junior team members
Working on continuous system improvement where required
Stay up to date on legislation changes

Essential experience:

Strong experience processing high volume payroll for multiple clients in a bureau or accountancy environment
Experienced on payroll systems
Experienced managing client relationships
Ability to process pensions/benefits
Strong IT/excel skills
