JGA is working in partnership with a fast-growing, market-leading organisation seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Payroll Specialist to lead UK payroll operations across a multi-entity structure.

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven professional who excels in independent roles, is passionate about process improvement, and is committed to delivering accurate, compliant payroll at scale.

What You’ll Do:
  • ke full ownership of the UK payroll process across multiple entities and pay frequencies
  • Lead end-to-end payroll activities including monthly processing, reconciliation, statutory submissions, and year-end reporting
  • Provide accurate payroll reporting and insights to support Finance, Audit, and compliance functions
  • Administer employee benefits and maintain effective relationships with third-party providers
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC and pension regulations, including auto-enrolment, P60s, and P11Ds
  • Collaborate on cross-functional operational projects and contribute to building scalable payroll processes
  • Champion continuous improvement of payroll systems, internal controls, and the overall employee payroll experience
What You’ll Need:
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing full-cycle UK payroll operations in-house
  • Solid knowledge of UK payroll and pension legislation
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with People and Finance teams
  • Experienced in using payroll and HRIS systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong skills in Excel and data reporting
  • Familiarity with benefits administration or a keen interest in managing flexible benefits initiatives
