Senior Payroll Technician - team leadership and hands-on work with clients - Daventry - to £40,000
We are delighted to be partnering again with our established, local client on the recruitment of a Senior Payroll Technician. You will be joining a supportive and friendly team, with the possibility of career growth to a management position over time.
As the Senior Payroll Technician your key responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining all payroll software to ensure legislative compliance.
* Developing, maintaining, optimising and deploying suitable payroll processes and controls.
* Ensuring all staff involved in payroll complete suitable technical training to maintain and progress technical expertise.
* Delivering client payroll with accuracy.
* Delivering client payrolls on time.
* Awareness of GDPR requirements.
* Delegation of payroll tasks to other team members where appropriate.
* Oversight and approval of payrolls prepared by other staff members.
