Job Description - Senior People Business Partner Manager
We’re looking for a high-impact, hands-on, Senior People Business Partner Manager, based in the UK, to support and partner with our key leaders and teams for the UK & EMEA region as we continue to build and grow. While the primary focus of this role is supporting the UK and EMEA regions, it will also play a key role in partnering with the VP of Talent People Business Partners to help deliver a consistent and impactful People Business Partner experience across the organization.
Your Impact: As a key member of our People Business Partner Team, and regional People Team lead, you will be deeply embedded in the business, working closely with leaders to align People strategies with Thrive’s ambitious growth goals. You'll drive high-impact initiatives across talent assessment, management, and engagement, culture change, and organization design. You’re a true partner and problem-solver—someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, tackles complex challenges head-on, and is passionate about building an engaged, high-performing workforce. You possess a positive, can-do attitude, always ready and willing to help where and how needed.
What You’ll Do at Thrive: Help Thrive Become Future-Ready You'll take a hands-on and consultative approach to solving problems and driving organizational success by:
Acting as the go-to talent advisor for leaders and their teams — connecting business goals to people strategies.
Helping leaders make better decisions and build high-performing, resilient teams.
Applying structured problem-solving and data-informed insights (both qualitative and quantitative) to shape programs and guide decisions.
Supporting leaders with organizational design — ensuring teams are structured with the right roles and skillsets to support business objectives.
Build a Competitive, Scalable Organization You’ll contribute to designing and scaling core talent programs that align with Thrive’s evolving needs, including:
Supporting leaders in setting clear goals, coaching teams, and developing talent.
Helping build and deliver talent programs around mentorship, performance management, coaching, and career development.
Guiding leaders and teams through organizational change, helping them stay aligned and resilient through growth.
Create an Exceptional Employee Experience Thrive’s culture is core to our success — and you’ll play a key role in nurturing it by:
Offering insights and recommendations on cultural and engagement initiatives.
Supporting implementation of programs focused on employee wellbeing, DEI, and overall talent management.
Acting as a trusted partner to resolve conflict, foster positive employee relations, and minimize unwanted turnover.
Delivering and evolving People processes that matter most to our teams and culture.
Drive Operational Excellence & Compliance You’ll also be a key contributor to how we build and scale smart, compliant People operations:
Acting as the subject matter expert for employment compliance in your region.
Helping to evolve and improve People-related processes and systems as Thrive continues to grow.
Here’s what you’ll bring to the role: Experience & Education:
6+ years of experience as a People Business Partner in fast-paced, evolving environments
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is a plus
