THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring an experienced Senior Permanent Consultant to join our Highways team.

Long-term national and local roads investment keeps demand for highways professionals high. You will own a senior perm desk with real autonomy and the backing of a team with deep infrastructure experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Run a full 360 perm desk across highways contractors, consultancies and local authority supply chains
Recruit highways engineers, designers, project managers, site agents and commercial staff
Develop key accounts and win new business across national and regional frameworks
Take detailed briefs and advise clients on salaries, market conditions and hiring strategy
Headhunt and represent strong candidates, managing them through to offer and start
Negotiate offers that work for both client and candidate
Keep the CRM accurate and compliant, deliver against targets and support newer colleaguesWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

A proven perm recruitment record, ideally in highways, transport or civil engineering
An established network of clients and candidates in the sector, or the drive to build one quickly
Consistent billing and strong account management
Persuasive, tenacious and resilient under pressure
Well organised and commercially minded
Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft OfficeABOUT ADVANCE TRS
