Job Description - Senior Planner

Senior / Associate Planner
Location: Cardiff Salary: £37,000 – £46,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent & Hybrid

Konker Group is hiring a Senior or Associate Planner to join a growing planning team in Cardiff.

This role is brand new, supporting increased project demand across urban development, regeneration, and mixed-use projects.

The company is a multi-disciplinary and employee-owned practice with around 25 staff across two regional studios.

You’ll be joining a close-knit planning team embedded within a wider design-led environment.

What You'll Be Doing: Senior / Associate Planner

Managing planning applications and supporting project teams
Engaging with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
Contributing to site appraisals, policy research, and design team workshops
Supporting junior planners and helping shape planning strategy

Location: Cardiff
Salary: £37,000 – £46,000

What We’re Looking For: Senior / Associate Planner

Knowledge of UK planning legislation and process
Experience in submitting and managing planning applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Passion for high-quality placemaking and sustainable development
