Senior Planner

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planner to join our team, based out of the Bury St Edmunds Office. As Senior Planner, you’ll support and empower our planning team to deliver a prompt, efficient and customer-focused repairs service.

A sometimes challenging but rewarding role, ensuring the business meets the requirements of the new and soon to be updated Awaabs Law. Ensuring compliance across numerous aspects of the delivery of a case is key. Ability to work under pressure, on own initiative as well as working with other team members to ensure the resident receives a friendly, professional service throughout the life of their works

Permanent | Full Time | 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | Bury St Edmunds Office Base

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing the day-to-day activities of the planning team

• Ensuring repairs are scheduled promptly and efficiently

• Coordinating complex jobs requiring multiple trades

• Supporting commercial and void planning when needed

• Handling calls, admin tasks and written communications

• Maintaining accurate records across operational systems

• Acting as an escalation point in the absence of the Operations Support Manager

• Driving performance and continuously improving service delivery

What we're looking for

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in supporting customer-focused teams

• Highly organised, proactive and detail-driven

• A confident communicator who can motivate others

• Comfortable challenging processes to drive improvement

• A strong team player with excellent customer service skills

• Experienced in handling customer interactions over the phone

• IT confident, with experience using a range of systems

• Educated to a good standard in English and Maths
