Senior Planner

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planner to join a well-established and growing planning team operating across the South. The role offers exposure to a broad mix of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects, working alongside a highly regarded multidisciplinary team.

This position sits within a consultancy known for delivering commercially focused planning advice, with a strong pipeline of work and long-standing client relationships across the region.

The Role

This is a key hire within the team, offering both project responsibility and client exposure.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of planning applications across a range of sectors
  
• Supporting senior team members on complex and strategic schemes
  
• Preparing planning appraisals and development strategies
  
• Engaging with local authorities and key stakeholders
  
• Drafting reports, statements and supporting documentation
  
• Attending client meetings and contributing to project delivery
  
• Supporting junior team members where appropriate
  

This role offers clear progression toward Principal level within a structured and supportive environment.

About You

• MRTPI qualified or working towards Chartership
  
• Strong experience within a consultancy or developer environment
  
• Proven track record delivering planning applications
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage client relationships
