Senior Planning Lawyer

I'm currently working with a London Local Authority that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Planning Lawyer / Planning & Highways Solicitor on an interim basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established legal team and take ownership of a varied planning caseload while providing technical support and mentoring to junior lawyers.

Contract Details:

* Initial 6 months+ and potential rolling arrangement

* £60-£65 per hour (DOE)

* Ideally 1-2 office days per week initially, reducing thereafter

* Single-stage interview process (45-60 minutes)

* Interviews available this week

Key Responsibilities:

* Advising on a broad range of planning law matters

* Drafting and negotiating Section 106 Agreements

* Highways and development-related agreements

* Planning enforcement work

* Supporting regeneration and master-planning projects

* Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team
