PiPcall is growing fast and we’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to take ownership of our core telephony platform. What You’ll Be Doing Owning and developing PiPcall’s Linux-based telephony platform Designing, building, and supporting real-time systems using FreeSWITCH Ensuring production systems are reliable, scalable, and performant Diagnosing issues across application, system, and network layers Analysing logs, metrics, and packet captures Improving monitoring, observability, and automation Working closely with engineers integrating backend services and APIs What We’re Looking For Strong experience with Linux production systems or similar Hands-on experience with FreeSWITCH or other SIP-based systems Solid understanding of SIP, networking, and real-time communications Confident troubleshooting skills (logs, tcpdump, Wireshark) Scripting experience (Bash plus Python / Perl / PHP or similar) Familiarity with relational databases Comfortable taking ownership in a small, fast-moving team What We Offer Flexible hours and regular remote working Competitive, experience - led salary End - to - end ownership of mission - critical infrastructure A high - trust, low - bureaucracy engineering environment A genuine opportunity to influence and shape a growing communications platform Monday to Friday 9:00 – 18:00 What’s in It for You You’ll join a rapidly scaling engineering organisation at a pivotal point in the telecoms and software landscape, working directly with a leadership team led by a proven serial technology entrepreneur.
