Senior PMO Analyst

you will support the PMO Lead to set priorities, provide coaching, direction and strategic guidance across the PMO team.In addition, you will provide support to Project and Programme Managers, helping to maintain and deliver a consistent and standardised approach to project delivery using current project frameworks and processes.

What you’ll do
Provide coaching and direction to the PMO project team and provide support to the PMO lead
Provide support to Project and Programme Managers in adherence to project processes and controls
Understand the project management tools and procedures in place and ensure all projects adhere to agreed stage gates and governance processes
Provide guidance on project management tools and processes, ensuring these align with the project delivery framework
Create and maintain project plans
Carry out project assurance and health-check reviews
Provide project governance, including change management, project status tracking, etc.
Actively participate in the ongoing improvement and implementation of project processes, standards and templates for enhanced project efficiency
Provide quality reviews of project documents
Support the development of new PMO processes and procedures
Collate and manage portfolio risks, issues and dependencies ensuring mitigating actions are in place and being progressed, escalating as required to the Programme manager
Monitor critical projects, prepare reports on a regular basis and analyse data to identify opportunities and process optimisation
Occasional travel to other locations may be required

What to bring
Proven experience of being a Senior PMO Analyst, ideally within an IT environment
A background of working within a structured Project Management Framework
Knowledge of project management tools and techniques
Excellent Microsoft Office skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Microsoft Project, Power BI
Proven experience of Project Online
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Personable and approachable
Flexible and autonomous approach to work
Helpful ‘can do’ attitude
