Senior Police Prosecutor

To effective be an experienced leader who influences negotiations on behalf of the Police Led Prosecution internally and externally on behalf of WMP at a regional level.  Furthermore, to be an expert in traffic legislation, case law, codes of practice and policing regulation. To be an experienced advocate in Prosecuting/Defending criminal cases in conjunction with understanding budget management requirements across the team. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1.    Responsibility for leading the police led prosecutions in their effective performance
2.    Attending Court to Prosecute Cases, Completing Not Guilty File Reviews and Pre-Charge Advice on cases. 
3.    Work towards Key strategic prioritises such as Vision Zero and the Fatal Four Offences.
4.    Influence as a leader to motivate and proactive influencer of people daily. Driving local projects. 
5.    Analytical, evaluative and innovative new ideas for income generation and preventative measures in road safety for the community daily.

Salary: £44,700

Hours/Shifts: Core Hours 08:00- 16:00 or 09:00 17:00  Monday - Friday 

Location: Lloyd House
