Senior PR Strategist

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior PR Strategist to join our UK PR Department either in our Manchester or Leeds office.

As a Senior PR Strategist, you’ll be working with global household brands across the travel, finance and lifestyle sectors whilst having the opportunity to work alongside the senior team to grow and develop the PR department including our team and clients. You’ll also have access to our training budget to help grow and develop your career and the opportunity to get involved with marketing and events if this is of interest to you.

Core Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead clients' strategies ensuring they are within budget, aligned with the brand, their sector, and their audience and meet organic objectives and KPIs.
  
  
• Seek and implement new processes, tools and ways of working within the department to contribute to team growth and upskilling.
  
  
• Support the management team to provide and organise internal and external training for the PR department to further skill sets.
  
  
• Direct line management including conducting 121s, performance reviews and goal setting of individuals within your team, ensuring you’re coaching and developing them to progress within their role.
  
  
• Contribution to wider department marketing including social and vlog content, event and conference attendance.

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of Digital PR experience, preferably agency side.
  
  
• Experience managing a small team including conducting 121s, performance reviews and setting goals.
  
  
• Extensive knowledge and confidence in building client strategies across different sectors, preferably across the UK market.
  
  

• In-depth understanding of Digital PR and SEO best practices.
  
  
• Confident use of PR and SEO tools such as ahrefs, BuzzStream, BuzzSumo, Search Console and GA to name a few. If you have experience using social listening tools too, even better!
  
  
• Massive team player with a can-do, what-’s-next attitude – we want someone who goes out of their way to support their team, isn’t afraid to suggest new, bold ideas and is always striving for more.
