Job Description - Senior Practice Accountant - Gujrati Or Hindi Speaker

Roles and Responsibilities: Â· Managing and serving as the primary point of contact for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring deadlines are met and queries are handled promptly and professionally.

Â· Taking responsibility for the preparation and finalisation of statutory accounts, corporation tax returns and bookkeeping with minimal supervision.

Â· Ensure accurate and timely VAT returns and registration submissions.

Â· Oversee payroll processes and provide support on compliance.

Â· Review the work of junior team members, providing guidance, training, and constructive feedback to support their development.

Â· Identify opportunities to improve internal systems and workflows for greater efficiency.

About You

Here’s what we are looking for in our ideal candidate:

Â· ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 3 – 5 years post qualified experience in practice

Â· Excellent technical skills, with knowledge of UK reporting requirements, including FRS 102, 105 and UK GAAP.

Â· Strong time management and organisational skills, adhering strictly to reporting deadlines.

Â· Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written with ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Â· Proven experienced in supervising or mentoring junior staff.

Â· Audit and personal tax experience is desirable, but not essential.

Â· Working knowledge of Xero, Sage and CCH.

Â· Good IT skills, including proficient use of Excel.
