Senior Practitioner - Family Help / Community Service

Salary: £47,532 - £52,584 per annum + £3,000 Recruitment & Retention Bonus
Contract: Permanent | Full-time - 37 hours per week
Location: Family Help / Community Team, Redbridge

Redbridge Council requires a Senior Practitioner to lead and manage complex family cases within the Community Team's Family Help Service. You will provide professional guidance and support to social workers, ensuring high-quality interventions.

You will also liaise with multi-agency partners and contribute to service improvement and safeguarding practice.

• Lead complex assessments and family interventions.

• Supervise and mentor social workers.

• Provide professional advice and support service development.

• Coordinate with partner agencies.

• Ensure accurate records and compliance with safeguarding policies.

• HCPC-registered Social Worker qualification.

• At least 3 years post-qualifying experience, ideally within early help or community services.

• Leadership and case management skills.

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

• Leadership role within an Ofsted Outstanding rated service.
