Senior Pricing Analyst
Wimbledon (Hybrid)
Up to £60,000 + Bonus & Benefits
I am currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Senior Pricing Analyst to join an established and well-regarded retailer based within their Head Office function in the Wimbledon.
Working as an integral part of the Commercial department, you will ultimately be responsible for developing and testing pricing strategies with the relevant market in mind with the ultimate aim to make them the go-to choice.
Your additional responsibilities will include -
Creating the on-going commercial strategy for the pricing & promotional campaigns calendar
Monitor key competitor in-store pricing and recommend price adjustments to ensure you are continuously competitive.
Utilise various software tools to monitor online pricings and recommend changes to both the category and ecommerce teams.
Maintain the calendar of various category pricing reviews to ensure all areas are regularly benchmarked against local market pricing.
Work closely with merchandising to monitor sales of end-of-line and discontinued products and adjust pricing accordingly to reduce obsolete stock.
Liaising with the Head of Trading to develop and maintain a reporting suite to monitor price movement across the business.
Keep aware of seasonal / local events and develop tests to increase customer footfall & conversion.
Responsible for updating and maintaining various databases and systems.
Assisting with streamlining & improving processes and overall efficiencies.
Working with merchandising to continually be aware and manage critical paths and promotional calendars.
Support with ad-hoc pricing & promotional initiatives and projects for the commercial team.
Key requirements for the role -
Previous experience of a Pricing & Promotions within a retail environment
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of promotions management.
Highly numerate, with proven ability to manipulate and analyse data to resolve commercial issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others and drive change.
Strong IT skills with good understanding of MS Office, advanced Excel & G-Suite
