Senior Pricing Analytics Consultant
Location: UK | Level: Senior

We are looking for a Senior Pricing Analytics Consultant to play a lead role in developing and evolving pricing systems, management information, and analytics. You will support the Senior Pricing Actuary in driving financial performance across distribution, underwriting, and portfolio management, while helping the business make data-driven decisions to support profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance pricing MI across all active products, including building dashboards and reporting tools to deliver actionable insights.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to support pricing decisions.
• Recommend rate and persistency targets and contribute to the annual financial planning process.
• Manage pricing programmes to achieve commercial targets.
• Support strategic initiatives within pricing and risk selection.
• Maintain and improve pricing systems and tools.
• Prepare clear reports and present insights to committees and senior stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements within the pricing team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners across distribution, underwriting, and strategy teams.
• Mentor and provide guidance to other team members.
• Embed and uphold risk, compliance, and governance frameworks in all activities.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong data analysis skills, including SQL (experience with R or Python advantageous).
• Experience with data visualisation tools and best practices (Power BI experience advantageous).
• Ability to translate data into clear insights and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving capability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and work to deadlines.
• Experience handling sensitive or confidential information.
• Proactive, initiative-driven, and able to mentor others.
• Knowledge of group risk products and pricing systems is advantageous but not essential.
