An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior or Principal Town Planner to join a well -established and highly respected independent planning consultancy, based in Leeds.

The Opportunity

You will be joining a successful and ambitious team with an excellent track record in delivering complex and high -profile schemes across multiple sectors.

Projects span:

• Residential and mixed -use developments
  
• Education and healthcare
  
• Sport and leisure schemes
  
• Retail and commercial projects
  
• Infrastructure, energy and defence
  

The team has been involved in a number of notable schemes, including major residential -led developments, large -scale regeneration projects, and flagship education and sporting facilities.

You will play a key role in:

• Leading and managing planning applications and projects
  
• Providing strategic planning advice to clients
  
• Working closely with developers, landowners and key stakeholders
  
• Supporting junior team members and contributing to team growth
  
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  

This is a role that offers real responsibility, client exposure and clear progression opportunities.

About You

We are looking for an experienced and motivated planner who is looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward -thinking consultancy environment.

You will ideally have:

• MRTPI Chartered status (or working towards submission shortly)
  
• Strong experience within a planning consultancy or similar environment
  
• A solid understanding of the UK planning system
  
• Experience managing a range of planning applications and projects
  
• Strong report writing and communication skills
  
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
  
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
