This is an excellent opportunity to join an established independent transport planning and infrastructure consultancy who provide multidisciplined services to high-profile projects across the UK. They are on the lookout for a Senior Level Transport Planner looking to progress to a Principal level to join their Bristol offices.

Leading transport planning commissions from inception through to completion Preparing and reviewing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans and other transport-related technical reports Providing strategic transport planning advice to clients and project teams Developing transport strategies for a range of development proposals and land uses Liaising with clients, local planning authorities, highway authorities and other stakeholders Supporting and leading discussions with planning and highway officers to achieve positive outcomes Providing technical input into planning applications, appeals and, where appropriate, public inquiries Managing project programmes, budgets and resources Preparing fee proposals and contributing to business development opportunitiesRequirements for the role of Senior | Principal Transport Planner:
Relevant degree within Transport Planning or another related discipline Chartered status or working towards chartership Significant experience within a transport planning consultancy or similar environment A strong understanding of the UK planning and development process Experience preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and/or Travel Plans Experience dealing with local highway authorities and planning authorities The ability to manage projects and communicate confidently with clients and stakeholders Strong report writing and analytical skills Commercial awareness and an understanding of project budgets and fee management The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team Experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues would be advantageousIf this role interests you or if you are interested in searching for other roles relating to Transport Planning please feel free to contact Ben Moore on (phone number removed) or email (url removed).
