About the position

At a crucial stage in its development as the leading wealth provider in the UK, HL is making significant investments to enhance digital platforms, operational efficiency, and overall client experience. As a Senior Procurement Category Manager, you will play a key role in this transformation, collaborating with existing and new suppliers to drive change and ensure value creation.

What you'll do

  • Category Management - Develop and maintain category plans aligned with business and technology strategy to drive commercial value and ensure resilience.
  • Sourcing - Execute the sourcing strategy by leading sourcing activities, conducting supplier negotiations, and implementing contract agreements.
  • Supplier Management - Establish a governance framework to oversee relationships and ensure delivery of contractual obligations.

About you

  • Experience in building category plans and collaborating with senior stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with expertise in high-value negotiations
  • Knowledge of technology, data, operational, or workforce categories
  • Familiarity with regulatory environments in Financial Services
  • Familiarity with EBA Guidelines on Outsourcing
  • Proficiency in data analytics and financial interpretation
