Senior Procurement / Category Manager - Prof & Non-IT

Your new company
This is a multinational banking and financial services institution, with over 450 branches in 19 cities. They offer a wide range of financial services, including corporate banking, investment banking and asset management, ranked amongst the largest 25 banks globally by assets under management. This team has moved from a decentralised to a centralised capacity. Therefore, a strong desire to promote procurement internally is needed for this role.

Your new role
You will be supporting the Procurement Director in establishing the value of procurement, with a direct focus on leading the Prof (Accounting, Audit, Tax, Legal and Consultancy) & HR (Recruitment, Temporary Labour, Pension, Payroll and Reward & Benefit) categories. You will be managing spend, split between the mentioned categories, as well as direct management of a small team reporting to you.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have a strong background in the Prof & HR categories, with preferred additional exp in Legal and Real Estate. You must have an innovative mindset in order to support the development of the entire procurement function. You will need to have great interpersonal and communication skills when engaging stakeholders and suppliers, as well as exposure managing people. You will need to have a good understanding of the market, products and services in the mentioned categories with Prof being a priority.
