Senior Product Designer

Salt are working with a start-up operating in the Entertainment space, specializing in digital Subscriptions. Backed by some of the biggest names in the gaming and entertainment industry, their aim is to be the UK's largest entertainment focused membership.

Within the last 12 months, they have doubled their active member base in the UK, tripled their team size and been listed on the public market. They are continuing to grow in 2024, with a new web experience and complete company re-brand on the agenda and they're looking for a Senior UI/UX designer to help steer them through this exciting period.

As the first design hire, you'll be part of a scaling business, shaping how design is approached in the business and playing an instrumental part in ensuring the best possible experience for their customers.

They're looking for a pro-active designer, with a collaborative, team mentality who likes the companies ethos and wants to be at an established, early-stage company with a real start-up feel to it.

Here are some key areas of experience they're looking for:

Full stack design experience across UI and UX with the ability to impact design across different channels covering, mobile, responsive web, desktop and content.
Gaming experience would be beneficial.
Experienced in photoshop and illustrator along with Figma, Invision and Adobe XD.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced-start-up/ scale-up.
Print Design experience would be beneficial but not essential.
Same goes for Indesign knowledge.
A good understanding of FE technical components would be great.

This role is based in South-East London on a hybrid basis, and due to the office location, would require access to a car or cycling in order to commute.

As part of the interview process, you'll meet with their CEO and founder, Head of customer experience and Head or Marketing. There is a 2 stage process, intro call followed by a second stage panel interview and portfolio deep dive.
