Senior Product Developer

Twelve is looking for a Senior Product Developer to join our fast-paced and highly creative team. In this role, you’ll support the development of standout GWP, promotional, and branded merchandise across the beauty, wellness, and lifestyle categories. You’ll work closely with our creative, production, and sourcing teams—as well as directly with clients—to bring compelling product ideas to life, from concept to delivery. This role is ideal for someone with 3–5 years of experience who’s excited to grow their expertise in global product development.

Key Responsibilities:

Client & Brand Collaboration

• Support creative and account teams in translating brand concepts into viable products.


• Develop an understanding of each client’s brand, aesthetic, and goals to help ensure deliverables are aligned.


• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate materials, finishes, and new product formats into presentations and prototypes.

Project Management

• Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple projects and client programs.


• Track milestones and ensure samples, specs, and product details are delivered on schedule.


• Work with internal teams to proactively flag risks and recommend solutions to keep projects on track.

Product Development

• Build spec sheets and detailed product instructions in collaboration with design and sourcing partners.


• Assist in the development of product and packaging mockups, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.


• Stay up to date on industry trends, materials, and production techniques to inform new ideas.

Sourcing & Costing

• Partner with the sourcing team to request quotes and gather pricing details for multiple SKUs.


• Contribute to vendor communication and help evaluate supplier options based on cost, quality, and lead time.


• Maintain accurate costing documentation for review by senior team members.

Problem Solving

• Apply a proactive, solution-oriented mindset to project challenges.


• Troubleshoot product issues, escalating when needed and offering thoughtful resolutions.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in product development, ideally in the beauty, lifestyle, or promotional merchandise space.


• Solid understanding of materials, packaging, and manufacturing processes.


• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.


• Familiarity working with international vendors and timelines is a plus.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through.


• Enthusiasm for creative problem-solving and continuous learning.


• Comfortable working across time zones or outside of standard hours when needed.
