Senior Product Manager - Treasury

Runa is pioneering a first-of-its-kind payment rail capable of issuing, sending and accepting digital value at scale.

Banking and card payment infrastructure still struggles to serve low-volume, high-velocity payments both locally and globally. Businesses send over $20 trillion in refunds, rewards, or remittances to consumers, employees, or freelancers, every year and waste thousands of hours, incurring costs of up to 50% per transaction and leaving the people they serve waiting days to receive their money.

Runa is transforming the payouts landscape with a new digital payments infrastructure that enables businesses to send digital value to anyone, anywhere instantly, free of charge for senders and recipients. Recipients can immediately spend the value they receive on the Runa network including 2000 plus merchants across 30 countries, completely independently of the legacy card rails.  Hundreds of leading companies rely on Runa to power instant, flexible global payouts to tens of millions of consumers including Sodexo, TopCashback, Perkbox, Sweatcoin, Coinbase and Globetopper.

The Role

Operating as a key player in our broader global expansion strategic initiative to make Runa available in all global markets; as a Senior Product Manager within our Treasury team, you will own and drive the product strategy, development, and successful innovation for our Billing squad helping our customers and Finance team to streamline and scale the financial engine that powers the flow of money through our platform. You’ll work closely with our Partnerships and Network teams to enable merchants on our platform to get paid accurately and promptly. 

From enabling customers to accurately manage, track and report on their spending, to ensuring our merchants and finance team can easily reconcile funds movements for payouts, you’ll influence and streamline processes that bring operational efficiencies as our customers' volumes grow.

What Excites Us

• A background in one or any of finance, accounting, fintech, financial markets or a proven history of learning new domains rapidly

• Proven experience in establishing what the right thing to build is, and who has delivered significant customer and business results using dual-track

• Demonstrated ownership or problems, with curiosity to question and understand the root cause

• Willingness to challenge the status quo and ask the right questions that enable other teams to truly innovate

• Ability to work with ambiguity, able to make trade-offs and quickly assess and take appropriate risks

• Clear and concise written and verbal communication, upwards, downward and sideways to ensure stakeholders are aligned on the problem, plan and progress at all times.
