Position Overview As a Senior Product Photographer specialising in still life and product photography, you'll be responsible for enhancing and delivering images to achieve impeccable final visuals. Using advanced comping skills and to enhance materials and textures, collaboratively with photographers, art directors, and internal teams, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that product images meet the highest standards of quality, creativity, and brand consistency.
About the role To deliver campaign creative & still life jewellery and ecommerce photography to the highest quality for the Abbott Lyon customer aligned to our the ecommerce content team You will be a focused, driven, hardworking individual that has the maturity and empathy to lead a team and collaborate with the Abbot Lyon leadership team. You will be a natural innovator and creative thinker, calm and professional, maintaining a positive and proactive attitude. This role demands a strong team player with exceptional communication skills. You are naturally curious and eager to learn and develop and can grasp new information very quickly. You will be able to identify with the ever-changing requirements of an evolving studio team. It is vital to build and maintain strong relationships driving quality of content across the Abbott Lyon brand touch points.
We’re Excited About You Because You Will Communicate effectively within the team to evolve the quality and aesthetics of all imagery. Maintain a consistent high level of photography that is complementary to the creative direction of the Abbott Lyon brand. Work with the Content Manager to plan the shoot and production schedules for the team Maintain constant awareness of competitors, be ahead of the curve. Manage the studio space and photography kit. To work collaboratively with other members of the Creative and Studio team and wider Abbott Lyon departments. Consistently strive to think outside the box with all processes and projects showing initiative and innovative, cost conscious mindset. Communicate effectively with your Line Manager and team to establish clear, recognisable and achievable goals. Champion, maintain and adhere to style guides & develop briefs set by brand and product teams. Flexibility to work at other external studios and on location when the brief requires. Consistent research and understanding of new trends, street style, models, celebrities, social movements, Pinterest, Instagram etc to stay inspired, in order to bring the correct approach to every shoot.
About you An expert knowledge of still life product photography, retouching and lighting techniques is essential. Experience shooting video would be an advantage. A strong understanding and confidence when working alongside video teams to devise lighting styles that work for both stills and video. Previous experience in the Jewellery and luxury goods market would be an advantage. An extremely high competence of using
Photoshop & Capture One. Must be able to light studio sets to look like natural daylight. Confidence in training others on photographic techniques. High competence using MAC Operating systems. Experience working within a fast paced creative studio environment. Thorough understanding of current trends and lighting techniques. Forward thinking, innovative & proactive in approach of all projects Superior planning, workload management and organisational capabilities. Highly developed interpersonal, problem solving and presentation skills. Creative flair and knowledge, producing innovative ideas and solutions. A strong communicator and listener. It is essential to be commercially minded and aware of retail fashion and lifestyle trends. Comfortable with a highly pressured and rapidly changing environment. Experience in E-commerce and editorial photography is essential. At least 3 years relevant experience. A supporting portfolio or website. Exemplary attention to detail. Full UK driving licence.

Location Our head office is in Bath but we operate a flexible hybrid model. Around 40% of the team are based near Bath, with others distributed across the UK.
