Senior Production Operative

We are working with a large Food Manufacturer in Ashford. Supporting them with appointing a new Senior Production Operative.
 
This role is an alternating shift position. Monday to Friday: 6am – 2pm for a week, then 2pm – 10pm the next week. This then rotates.
 
The position is permanent staff employed full time:

For this role we can consider any employment background, but some exposure to food / hygiene is essential. This could be from a different environment such as a restaurant, factory, café, supermarket etc. The role will involve some supervision of other staff, so a background in coordinating or supervising personnel would be preferred.
 
The role will be working within their production facility. Operating systems and production plant using computer screens and operator terminals. The role will also involve duties around packaging lines, some supervision of operative staff, ensuring KPIs are achieved, promoting good manufacturing processes etc.
 
The role is paying a base rate of £13.78 per hour.
There is over time paid at multiples depending on the time of day.
