Senior Project Accountant / Project Finance Analyst

Location: Oxford, UK

This is a unique opportunity to create value and drive returns across a portfolio of large-scale construction projects. The successful candidate will provide strategic financial oversight for c12 live real estate projects, with a focus on budgeting, cost analysis, cash flow forecasting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project budgeting and forecasting processes
• Oversee cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
• Partner with project managers to provide financial insights and support performance tracking
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and cost analysis with commentary
• Monitor and control project costs, highlighting variances and recommending cost-saving measures
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and external financial regulations
• Support audit preparation and manage interactions with auditors
• Drive continuous improvements in systems and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency

Skills

• Experience within the real estate or construction industry is essential
• Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial reporting systems
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially astute
• Excellent communication skills with experience managing multiple stakeholders
