Job Description - Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager
Location - Crossness SE2
Salary - £65,000-£81,720 plus car allowance and benefits

We are delighted to be recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to lead a major infrastructure project with over £100 million of investment at one of the largest wastewater treatment facilities in the south east of England. This role involves overseeing the project from initial design through to completion, driving progress, and ensuring successful delivery within time and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with key objectives.
Take full accountability for project cost, quality, and timely delivery.
Foster a strong health & safety culture across all phases of the project.
Collaborate with contractors and key stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
Define and develop effective project solutions to meet operational goals.
Ensure compliance with governance requirements and seamless integration into operations.
Identify and mitigate risks while delivering continuous improvements.

Location & Working Hours

Hybrid role based at Crossness, Abbey Wood, London, with flexibility for remote work.
On-site presence required three days a week during the construction phase.
Full-time, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What’s Required

Strong experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
Relevant engineering, business, or project management qualification.
Knowledge of contract negotiation, tendering, and risk management.
Ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
