The Role

Elliott Group UK is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to take full responsibility for the delivery of a major construction project in Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in major hotel developments, complex refurbishments or high-end fit-out projects.

The successful candidate will be a confident, commercially aware construction professional capable of independently managing all aspects of project delivery, from programme and procurement through to subcontractor management, client relationships and final handover.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience delivering major hotel projects or technically challenging refurbishment and fit-out schemes within a main contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a major construction project, ensuring programme, budget, quality and safety objectives are achieved.

* Lead and manage the project team, including construction management, commercial, design and building services functions.

* Develop, monitor and manage construction programmes, identifying risks and implementing effective solutions.

* Oversee procurement, subcontractor appointments and the coordination of specialist trade packages.

* Manage project budgets, commercial performance and contractual obligations in collaboration with the commercial team.

* Act as the primary point of contact for the client, consultants and key project stakeholders.

* Oversee design coordination, technical challenges and the integration of complex construction and fit-out activities.

* Drive high standards of health, safety, quality and operational performance throughout the project.

* Manage project reporting, progress meetings and communication with senior management.

* Lead the project through commissioning, completion and successful handover.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Director delivering major construction projects.

* Strong track record in hotel construction, high-end refurbishment, complex fit-out or similar projects.

* Previous experience working for a main contractor or established refurbishment and fit-out contractor.

* Demonstrable ability to independently lead a project from a technical, operational and commercial perspective.

* Excellent understanding of construction programming, procurement, contractual management and project delivery.

* Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary project teams and specialist subcontractors.

* Excellent client-facing, communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Ability to make decisions, resolve challenges and maintain control of demanding construction programmes.
