Senior Project Manager

Job Description

Reporting to the Directors you will provide project management and FF&E administrative support to our clients .

Someone who will support the Directors and provide back up

administrative/customer/sales

support to the highest level to lead multiple and varied FF&E projects and quotes, working on your own within a small team.
A confident, loyal, trustworthy, dynamic, charming person who can hold their own with clients, suppliers, contractors, and fabricators.
Someone unafraid to take responsibility, ensuring Stylematters deliver a seamless service to our clients.
Good project leadership skills, and someone who can mange a small office workload
Someone with a proactive nature, great instincts and open to feedback.

The ideal candidate must have :
A degree or equivalent in Interior Design would be preferred.
Full proficiency using Excel, powerpoint Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Suite.
A strong background in Interior, a high standard of technical ability and broad knowledge of materiality.
A passion for FF&E with vast knowledge of suppliers, product and specialist finishes. Experience in procurement would be a plus but is not essential.
Experience working on all aspects of projects, through all stages of work, from concept to completion.
An understanding of project programs and deadlines.
Financial understanding of project costs and budget awareness.
An exceptional eye for scale and balance, detail and colour.
Impeccable and concise communication and presentation skills, verbal and written.

The role broken down:

Report to the Directors workload and development of sales growth of projects

Drive and inspire the small team , bring new ideas, helping to source new furniture, and bring original and fresh thoughts to Stylematters .

Responsible for Administrative quotes using excel / procurement of goods / closing the sale.
Present and sell concepts and design solutions to our Clients.

Provide strong project leadership and seamless service to our clients, with exceptional communication throughout.

Attend meeting when needed to on site clients and assist the designers/clients on the conceptual and technical side of the design process.

Coordinate and oversee the quotes /order , ensuring comments and revisions are always up to date.

Support the Director when they are not present with directing the quotes/sales etc

Provide regular and timely updates and progress reports to the Directors and/or Associates.

Manage and check information produced by consultants, and suppliers on all orders.

Respond effectively to complex questions and troubleshoot problems

Apply strategic thinking to projects. Forecast, identify, and communicate risks and brings ideas and solutions to the table.

working across commercial projects through interior designers, hotels restaurants, student accommodation etc We pride ourselves on our small upholstery company.

role must be based at our head office in Pickmere (remote working will not work for this role)
