Senior Project Manager Construction Consultancy

A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy based in Manchester is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their expanding North West team. This Senior Project Manager will take ownership of a varied portfolio across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments, working with a strong client base and established delivery team.

The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in leading schemes from feasibility through to completion, offering both strategic and hands-on input. This Senior Project Manager opportunity is ideal for someone looking to step into a key leadership role within a growing regional office.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience as a Project Manager to be considered for this role.

The Senior Project Manager's role

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects, managing programme, cost, and risk while ensuring client objectives are achieved. The Senior Project Manager will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, oversee procurement strategies, and chair client and design meetings. As a Senior Project Manager, you will maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development opportunities. The Senior Project Manager will also support and mentor junior team members, helping to develop internal capability.

The successful Senior Project Manager will have a proven track record within a construction consultancy environment. A Senior Project Manager should hold a degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or similar, with MRICS, MAPM, or equivalent accreditation preferred. The Senior Project Manager will demonstrate strong commercial awareness, leadership capability, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments.
