IPS Group are working with a global brand that has a well-established presence across the UK. They are committed to growing and continually developing their Property and Casualty proposition across the UK, specifically in the midmarket segment. Due to this, they are therefore seeking 2 experienced property & casualty underwriters to join their underwriting division team in Chelmsford / the surrounding areas.

The Role/Team:

In this role, you will be dealing with property and casualty policies across the midmarket sector. The business has a diverse appetite, so it can write risks as either a combined package or singular with premiums ranging from 25k to 250k along with some more complex cases as well. You will be part of a team that has a mixture of experience so you will have the opportunity to learn from your peers as well as provide support to your colleagues on referrals. If you are a technical underwriter who also relishes the broker relationship management piece, this will particularly appeal to you.

Required Skills/Experience:

We’re keen to speak with individuals who have experience in a similar role, handling both New and Existing Business, either with an insurer or within an MGA holding Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA). Experience in Commercial Combined or a single commercial policy line will be considered.
